SO, WHAT’S NEXT?
Nov 24, 2019:
And with that we come to the end of another chapter of First Kiss!
Now that Bulma’s feelings were made obvious, Vegeta’s removed distractions from his training and Yamucha is officially out of the picture, we could say things are a little quiet right now, hm… I wonder if this will last, there’s still a little over a year and a half until the fight for Earth breaks out!
_______
It’s hard to believe we’re almost 9 chapters in since this project started!
For me, it’s time for a little break so with that I am officially on HIATUS from First Kiss!
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how it goes, usually 3-6 months until I start getting back into the next chapter, this time though it might be a little longer I’m not sure T_T , it all depends on a lot of “real life” factors as usual *sigh…adulting*
BUT it will be back, and I’ll still have some other works from side projects going on, so be sure to check me out on my other social media sites as well as my patreon, links are on the page to the right!
As for the question about adult pages, they will be out eventually on Twitter, I get asked about those a lot (sorry, they won’t be posted here!)
Sooooo yea! That’s it for now! 😄
See you all back for Chapter 9!
Thanks again for reading!
F.A.Q
How often do you update?
Usually every weekend or every other weekend on Sundays! (When I’m not on hiatus)
The art looks so much like Dragonball, how come?
I deliberately try to match my style to Toriyama’s. I have collected many references to aid in my art and have practiced drawing in his style since I was a kid. Personally I think you can even find influence of his style in a lot of my non Dragonball inspired works.
People say it’s official, is it?
Not at all. I’m flattered people would think that though. But a lot of artists especially in Japan can match Toriyama’s style more closely I think than I can. For me, I’m not trying to have it mistaken for official work, just want to pay my respects to the original artist.
Do you write any other mangas besides Dragonball?
Nope. I know, I know.
“You put a lot of time into this, and it’s based on someone else’s work”
To some people it seems a little surprising, if you’re going to put this much time into something and it’s not something you can claim as your own, why bother?
Well, it depends on the type of person you are, I know for me I find it very therapeutic and calming, it’s something that makes me happy. Sometimes doing something that you enjoy doesn’t always come in the form of your own characters or even your own worlds. Besides, you can still learn a lot of skills from creating fan art, I don’t see any problems with something like that!
Would you provide this as a printed book?
I really wanted to, just for those who have watched me create this over time.
After being asked so much about it I was going to, but now it’s something I have to think carefully about. I think for now since you have access to the pages in a digital book format that’s helpful. Maybe you can also print a personal copy and have it bonded into a book at your local printers, I’d suggest something like that for personal use.
I can’t see the “digital book format”?
Sorry about that, I can’t accommodate all device types with the website’s browser settings. If you’re browsing on your phone or certain browsers you may get a list view instead.
Most Desktop computers will show you the book format, I’m using Google Chrome and Firefox to see mine!
But don’t worry, I’ll look into providing a longer list view with more pages for phone users at some point.
